This exhibition is a compelling visual treatise on temporal dissolution and the formation of a New Mythology. Operating at the liminal intersection of Surrealism and Pop Aesthetics, the collection presents a series of canvases that deliberately dismantle the linearity of time and place.

The core narrative is one of union: a cosmic, gravity-defying synthesis where the sacred, the natural, and the extraterrestrial converge. Nature transcends the role of mere backdrop, asserting itself as an active, sentient force. Its inhabitants—the animal kingdom—are transformed from realistic figures into sacred totems, embodying the raw power of primordial instinct.

Punctuated by a knowing humor and contemporary irony, the work casts a critical, yet playful, eye on modern fashion and cultural influences. It invites the viewer into a unified, cosmic dreamscape where all works coalesce to forge a timeless narrative, suggesting that the past and the future are not discrete points, but simultaneous, living realities.

About the artist

Alina Puzanova, originally from Crimea but raised in Greece since the age of seven, is a self-taught creator. Having studied the evolution of painting and the history of Surrealism, she draws inspiration from artists such as Max Ernst.

A graduate of a drama school and a professional translator, she approaches painting as a form of personal performance and spiritual expression through an experiential visual language, where dramaturgy and emotion become the primary tools.

At the age of 12, she won a painting competition at the Russian Embassy, and at 17, she was distinguished in a nationwide poetry competition in Greece.

Her first solo exhibition, 'Anti...', unites these languages—painting, poetry, and theatricality. The presentation constitutes a visual confession about the concept of resistance (to something...), while simultaneously creating a personal mythology.
